Special OSP Scoop!

Recently, we spoke with Deborah of Plant Traps, who invented and patented the RailScapes Plant Clip - a unique and space-saving plant holder that mounts to your porch railing and holds your potted plants for vertical gardening.
Deborah reached out after reading many of our articles on overseas sellers’ consistent negative impact on the ecommerce market by blatantly and illegally copying American inventions, stealing our own content, and taking over selling platforms… Stories which were all too familiar to her.
She then listed the many ways in which these events transpired in her own business, how she found her own images listed on Amazon and Alibaba, how dozens of copycat products of inferior quality flooded the market, and how she largely left selling on Amazon. Ever since Amazon Support left her to fend for herself, she’s been in a costly legal battle to regain control of her brand, taking down over 540 illegal knock-off listings in April alone.

Check out Deborah and Plant Traps!

Also, Deborah’s isn’t the only experience we’ve heard firsthand about these issues… Share yours with us: [email protected]
