It was a wild ride

1. The year's overview in Ecommerce. 2022 was interesting, to say the least, for ecommerce. Many companies took significant losses, employees faced layoffs, and fees were raised. That being said, we definitely had some high points as well. Ecommerce spending in the US hit $1 trillion, some different platforms branched off into eCommerce, and innovating tools and techniques were developed. [Learn more].

2. A Deep Dive on our trend finder. Last week we introduced EcomTrendFinder.com, our in-house tool for finding hot trends in the market. Now we've got a video with more detail on how it works [Learn more].

3. Amazon starts delivery with drones. The ecommerce giant is taking to the skies with drones and packages. Already, trips have been flown to consumers in the buildup to Christmas. The new delivery method is currently limited to parts of California and Texas, with Amazon looking to expand in the future. [Learn more].

4. Easy way to track conversion rates over time. Back in April, Amazon released "Search Query Performance" (a section of Brand Analytics) to give brand-registered sellers a more in-depth view into rankings and sales based on keywords over a given time frame. The program is still in beta, but very helpful, nonetheless.

5. Interesting trend this Christmas. Using Amazon's Brand Analytics we've seen an eyebrow-raising trend... People searched more for dog and cat toys over children's toys on Amazon, and by a decent margin, all things considered. [Learn more].
