Better than expected Black Friday performance!

1. Record breaking Black Friday for Amazon. In spite of fears, Amazon still managed to have an unprecedented shopping event last weekend. Top items were Echo smart devices, Apple AirPods, the Nintendo Switch, and more. What's more, Internal sources say small businesses made over $1 billion in revenue over the weekend. [Learn more].

4. Incredibly useful AI tool for bullet points and descriptions. We recently came across a website that, when given a prompt will write copy using information pulled from the internet. You can give the AI modifiers to use such as: 'long', 'short', 'funny', etc, and it will write accordingly. The grammar was surprisingly good, it even pulled specifics about certain brands, and better yet - it's all free! [Try it out].

3. Amazon troubles in India? The selling giant's efforts in India have been stunted - but not stopped. In late November Amazon announced plans to shut down 3 programs in India, namely Amazon Academy, Amazon Food, and Amazon Distribution. The company continues online mark efforts in the country, which represents massive market potential. [Learn more].

4. It's getting more expensive to sell on Amazon... Again. The online selling platform is raising outbound shipping fees, storage fees, and introducing an "aged inventory surcharge." Amazon attributes the need for increases to sellers whom they believe have unnecessarily used warehouse storage space. [Learn more].

5. $1 trillion+ spent online in the US. US ecommerce beats expectations by $200 billion with a 25% increase over pre-covid forecasting. While some point out that ecommerce is falling back to the pre-covid trendline, the data is confusing as online shopping is still growing strongly and many are unsure of what will happen next.
